The Sir Thomas Wilbraham Charity

Grants related to education and training are given to young people under the age of 21 years who have lived in the parishes of Blymhill or Weston-under-Lizard for at least 2 years. Over the last 12 months, the charity has awarded grants to several young people, including an award to a second year university student studying a sports degree and a third year student who is studying languages. One local family even has three members who have all benefited from the charity's financial  support! They are sisters, two of whom are at university studying a BA in English and a BSc in Midwifery resepctively, and the youngest sister who received financial support for ‘one to one’ instrumental lessons as part of her A level music studies.
